Myers Park 4-star guard Bishop Boswell commits to Tennessee
Another member of Myers Park's loaded 2024 class has committed to play at a high-level college basketball program. 4-star combo guard Bishop Boswell announced his pledge to the University of Tennessee on Thursday evening.
The senior announced his decision on his various social media platforms.
4-star Mustang guard Sir Mohammed committed to Notre Dame in August. The Mustangs have an uncommitted 4-star named Sadiq "AJ" White in the junior class.
Boswell picked Tennessee over other opportunities from Georgia, Missouri, Wake Forest, Xavier, Georgetown, Houston, LSU, Mississippi State, NC A&T, Penn State, South Carolina, St. Bonaventure, Texas A&M, USC, USF, and VCU.
The guard stands at 6-foot-4 and weighs 195 pounds.
Myers Park finished last season with a 28-4 overall record and as the 4A state champions. Boswell was named MVP of the Mustangs' 74-60 win over Richmond after scoring 22 points and playing defense on NC State commit Paul McNeil.
Boswell averaged 12 points, 4.3 rebounds, 5.7 assists, and 1.7 steals per game as a junior. It was his first season with the Mustangs after he transferred from South Mecklenburg.
