All right. Hi, everyone. Meteorologist Anthony Baglione here in the Wral Severe Weather Center. We have a lot to talk about here as far as the weather is concerned as we get ready to head into the weekend for any plans going on, just everything across the area. Here's kind of a good look at what we're tracking in the next couple of days and even into this afternoon, we're going to see the cloud cover filling in some spotty evening rain and maybe some storms. I don't think it's gonna be a lot for us today. Severe chances though, arrive as we get into tomorrow. We're gonna talk about that here in just a second and then still a possibility of some rain as we get into our Sunday. So certainly looking like kind of an unsettled maybe movie weekend if you can. Here's future cast. So we're starting off the day with some sunshine peeking through the clouds. But as we go into the next couple of hours in this afternoon, most of the cloud cover that's currently back to our west that is going to start to fill in, we could see a stray shower. There's one o'clock, I think for the majority of us though this afternoon is looking just fine. We get into this evening scattered showers and storms. There will be a possibility. So if you're headed out to a movie tonight, you want to go to dinner. If you're headed out for any plans across the area, I would take the umbrella just in case we get into tomorrow morning. Contrary to what this model is showing, I do think we will see the potential for some showers early on, maybe a break around lunchtime and then another batch into the afternoon. It's the afternoon time frame where we could see some of these on the stronger side new this morning, the storm prediction center which is based out in Oklahoma. They're very skilled scientists at what they do. They look at kind of all the ingredients in the atmosphere of what we think potentially could happen and they do have a level two risk now outlined for Fayetteville, our southern counties there into tomorrow five is the highest, one is the lowest. What this is saying is we could see a few strong to severe storms with some damaging wind and maybe an isolated tornado. Keep checking back though. I can't stress that enough because this forecast is still kind of shifting as we speak. Just kind of getting better details on what potentially will happen. So just make sure to stay tuned until later on today. We have the Cultural Arts Festival. Of course, in Durham, 60 to 70% chance of rain. I think it's looking like it could be decently unsettled. 78 there for exposure as we head into our Saturday 70 on Sunday. Lots of events happening around town. I do think by the time we get to our Sunday afternoon evening, we start to quiet down and then warming right back up there to 88 degrees. By the time we get to Thursday of next week.
