I think a little bit of both. I think we probably didn't have to start. We were looking for, um to get to our game for, for a little bit, but, um, we had a ton of energy and emotion. Um, obviously, game one of the playoffs, you get that and got our legs underneath us a little bit and um I thought the third period was really good. We, we definitely got more shots through and um created a few more chances. So, uh we gotta do that from the start next game, Corey Friday. It seemed like you really, um after the first period, really found your game and made a couple really spectacular saves one on one or, or even the one in the third, um diving down. Did you just feel as the game went on? You got better? Yeah, of course. I think you're just, uh you're excited to play and, and obviously you settle into the game a little bit more and yeah, we did a good job obviously of responding to the first grade and, um, you know, got, uh, yeah, I got some more parts said and um, yeah, so score Sean go ahead, Brady, you mentioned trying to find your game. How much did Kui help with that? And what's impressed you the most about him and your time around him? Um, well, he was obviously he's a big time, big game player. Um, he's proven that, um, in playoffs in the past and, um, he was, he was huge for us tonight, obviously getting that goal early was, was huge. And then, um, to answer your next question, I think his skill is probably the thing that stands out the most to me, he's probably one of the most skilled talented players I've ever, I've ever seen or played with. Um, so hopefully you can, uh, keep going and he's been a huge, uh, huge part of our, our team here since he's been here and we're excited to have him. Luke, go ahead, Freddie. What, what did it mean to you to be sort of in there in the net right from the start from the start of game one and kind of pick up the baton at the beginning? I mean, was that, was there a special feeling to that to kind of be in there right at the start and, and starting with the win? Um, I'm just grateful to be, to be part of playoff hockey. I think we have a really special team and everyone's gonna, yeah, it's gonna be part of it and, uh, do their, do their job as best as possible and uh Yeah, like I said, just, it's really exciting to be back out here and uh and battling with the guys, Brady with how well Freddie played all game long and he makes that save on Dobson at the beginning of the third period. And then it seems like the team has their best shift of the game. Just how important is that sequence of events of the team. Yeah, it's huge. I mean, um you don't wanna be a team relying on your goalie, but Freddy has always been there for us and has made the big save when we need it. So, um those plays, you, you look back on in a game and those are huge moments and um you gotta be on the try to be on the right side of it. So, uh obviously we gotta do a little better job of, of helping him out. But, um, he's always been there for us and has made a big save at the right time. Brady. I don't see you practicing the tip drill too often. Is that something you're doing in the garage or something? Something different? No, II, I, uh I don't find myself down there too much looking for a tip and, um, I saw a koozie and I, I had a feeling he was going to shoot it. So I kind of just went, went there through the slot and, um, got a stick on it and it was obviously a big finish by NACE. So, um, but no, I definitely don't, not practicing that. Go ahead, Josh Freddie, you talked about how thankful and grateful you are just to be a part of playoff hockey. Has your perspective over the last year changed because of what's happened since your last playoff start. Yeah, of course. I think we're, we're, we're fortunate to be out here and, and play in this atmosphere and, um, again with the, with the support I've had over there. Yeah, the last few months, uh both of my team and my teammates and uh yeah, and the team are on us. Um Yeah, again, um just can't, can't stress enough how grateful I am to be back and having this. Uh Yeah, having all this fun. Go ahead. Look again on the, the Dobson sequence for the pockets, the post comes back. What did, what did you see there? What, what, what was, what, what's kind of your, what was your vision of that sequence? Uh I think I just got, got clipped with someone's skate. I don't know. Um Just kind of threw out the, the technique and broke out the window and then try to uh try to come up with something, get to get close to the park and Yeah, good. Um Yeah, get something on it. I'm meteorologist, Amy Wilmeth in the WRL severe weather center. The weather pretty quiet today, we have some clouds around. We'll get up to around 90 this afternoon. So it's still hot outside today and then late this evening and especially overnight tonight, rain chances start to go up. We're watching a disturbance over Arkansas back down into Louisiana and Texas that's headed in our direction and it brings some unsettled weather for the upcoming weekend. And as early as tonight, we could start seeing some of those showers. So here's a look at Future cast seven o'clock tonight. I'd expect most of us to stay dry. I wouldn't rule out an isolated Sprinkle or two by 7 a.m. Saturday morning. A couple of hit and miss showers will be possible, but it's not widespread rain. Really hoping things stay dry for a race for the cure. And I know we have a lot of graduations in the morning. So hopefully it stays dry through the morning hours as we get into the afternoon, we'll have some hit and miss hours and some thunderstorms and that will continue into the evening on Saturday as well. Sunday morning at 6 a.m. looks mainly dry, but as we head into lunchtime and into the afternoon and evening hit and miss showers and storms will be possible. Again, look at how much we could get anywhere from around a quarter of an inch to three quarters of an inch. And that takes us through the next seven days. And some of this rain is likely going to linger into early next week, hour by hour, rain chances for tomorrow in the morning, it looks mainly dry. We have better opportunity for some of those scattered showers and storms in the afternoon and evening hours. So just keep the umbrella with you as you're headed out and about Saturday and Sunday as well. A lot of graduation. Saturday morning, we have NC State NC Central Saint Augustine's all have graduations in the morning. It's about a 20% chance for rain. After graduation, there might be some showers. You might have to dodge some of those showers and storms while you're getting your pictures taken on Saturday for those commencement ceremonies. So 90 today, we have race for the Cure Saturday morning hoping it stays dry just a slim chance for in the morning and then scattered storms will be possible. Sunday as well. Monday and Tuesday, it's going to get hot again next week with high temperatures back in the low to mid nineties on Wednesday and Thursday.
